About

BabyBuns for Life was founded by the Graves’ family because they know and understand all too well the feeling of uncertainty that comes with premature birth.  After 17 years of struggling with infertility and numerous miscarriages, they were finally expecting.  Unfortunately, their son was born at only 23 weeks weighing only 13 oz. and was giving less than a 1% chance of survival. They spent 356 days in the NICU.

The family has been featured on many media outlets for their inspiring story and the way they give back even during their difficult times.  Many media outlets like WRIC 8 News, People’s Magazine, Rachel Ray, The Doctors, Good Morning America, Virginia Currents, Essence Magazine, and BlackDoctors.org have shared their story.  They’ve also partnered with March of Dimes, March for Babies, Va. Special Olympics and other organizations to expand their efforts.
